Who is Stuart Stuart?
It's well and good to make a great CD, but without record label interest, it doesn't add up to much. Stuart's passion is discovering an act, developing it from the ground up, then delivering it to the right record label at the right time. Stuart is all about putting great artists together with the music industry. Before one note is recorded, Stuart formulates a plan to promote the music to the people who can take it to the wider world. Stuart's aim is always to create a 3-4 minute hit single that will grab an industry bigwig by the ears and make them take action.
Stuart has already produced more music than most audio professionals twice his age. Stuart has quickly developed a reputation as the producer to see when you’re ready to do it right.
A musician since he was 7, Stuart is a talented multi-instrumentalist. He starting working with computer sequencers at age 11, and has grown up to become one of the most proficient users of new technologies in Australia. He’s even written for music technology magazines. Stuart is signed to Mushroom Music, a result of being signed to Mushroom Records in 1999.
To date, Stuart has had six artists sign with record labels, with two more on the verge of doing deals as we speak. Stuart has managed to get publishing deal offers for three artists and had two scooped up by big time managers.
In short, Stuart Stuart is a producer who also helps artists market their music to labels, as well as making sure every song he works with becomes everything it can be. It's a rare combination in the Australian music industry.
